Sonar
Originally designed by Bob Simmons in the 50s, I took a classic Simmons shape and made it my own. With a belly in the front 12 inches transitioning to a single concave which increases under your back foot, this board feels and rides like a skateboard. With a short stubby outline and wide tail, the Sonar is ideally suited for clean, summer waves in the knee to chest high range. Option for fin boxes but best suited for custom, glass on twin fins. Ride this shape 6-8” shorter than you are tall.
